Reverend Rickey Reed is the Organizer, and Senior Pastor of the Word of Life Church. He is a student of the Word of God. He served several years as the Director of Christian Education for the West Tennessee Baptist, Missionary, and Education Association. Pastor Reed is a Graduate of the Pastors Alternative Education Program through the National Baptist Convention. He has been certified to teach classes in the W.T.B.M.& E. Association’s board meetings and annual sessions. He has been certified as a Dean. He served ten years as a clinician in theNOMA Pastors and Ministers Conference in Carbondale IL. Pastor Reed is a prolific speaker and accomplished musician. He has served as Choral Director for Lane College in Jackson, TN, and currently a Choral Director at South Side High School in Jackson, TN.

Pastor Reed is married to the former Sheila Ann Green, and has three children, Jamiah, Rickela, and Geordan. He and First Lady Reed are especially proud to be the grandparents of Jamisen Sisney and Chancellor Reed.
